Dodgie Dator is a Winnipeg based artist creating masterpieces in a variety of mediums, he is a multi award winning jewellery designer by trade as the in house designer for one of the  prominent jewelry store in the province of Manitoba, McGrath Diamonds. His creativity not only in creating jewellery but in other mediums such as painting, set designing, sculpting and mixed media. Extending his artistic repertoire into photography, his preference of lowlight artistic photography and landscapes has been well received in the local photographic community. His artistic abstracts and animal images has also been well received by fellow artists. His visions can be very uniquely captivitating, by creating images out of everyday things that we might take for granted and places that we've  seen before that never looked so beautiful.  

Born and raised in the Philippines before migrating to Canada, studied exclusively at Ateneo de Davao University. Art has always been his passion being involved in the schools artistic productions and representing the school for artistic competitions. Received various trainings from Christian Learning Center and The Ford Academy of the Arts in various mediums(oils, acrylic, enamel, watercolour painting, inks and charcoal sketching, sculpture, lay-out and set designing), with these extensive training and expertise he can  create artworks combining different disciplines for a truly unique masterpiece.

This website is a personal  display of Dodgie's photographs, for him photography is way to unwind from a busy day, a way to appreciate life and the beauty that surrounds us everyday. Photography is quite an expensive hobby but in each photographs that Dodgie creates, it gives him the satisfaction that it is money well spent. As an avid enthusiast he takes pride on the images he creates as recognitions and compliments are the  rewards that the artist cherish, that it's not only him admiring his work. His photographs being published on various Winnipeg articles and tourism materials  right along side seasoned professionals in the industry is such an accomplishment.  Thanks to Destination Winnipeg's "Picture Winnipeg" photo contest.
